Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT department seeks a full-time Epic Senior Analyst for OpTime/Anesthesia to lead design, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules.

The role collaborates with stakeholders, end-users, and project teams, provides senior guidance, conducts testing, and supports day-to-day operations while aligning with clinical needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Clinical Discipline, or related field.
• Epic Optime/Anesthesia Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience supporting Epic applications, preferably in healthcare.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
• Excellent communication and the ability to train and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize Epic OpTime/Anesthesia configuration and access.
• Acts as primary support contact for end-users and conducts testing and documentation.
• Drives design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post‑go-live optimization.
• Mentors junior staff and supports ticket resolution and data requests.
• Ensures compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices.
