Job summary

Vail Mountain is hiring for a managerial role in its Food and Beverage division. The Manager will lead the restaurant team, oversee front and back-of-house operations, and ensure outstanding guest experiences in a high-volume mountain dining setting.

The position requires 5+ years in restaurant work with at least 1 year in leadership, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Competitive pay and full-time benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Sets an example for all staff in service standards, menu knowledge, wine and beverage education, and overall service excellence.
• Manages restaurant floor operations, including revenue tracking, payroll, scheduling, and inventory.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and training programs for Mountain Dining.
• Maintains guest satisfaction by delivering friendly, responsive service at all times.
• Takes actions to meet sales, service, quality, and cleanliness targets and develops staff accordingly.
