Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst I for the Lumens Department. You will configure, test, and validate Epic applications, translating clinical workflows into effective system features.

You will serve as a support liaison, document changes, prepare training materials, and participate in go-live readiness, upgrades, and after hours support as needed. Candidates should have 3–5 years in healthcare information systems, an associate or bachelor’s

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct clinical/healthcare operations experience or information systems.
• Epic experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defined clinical/workflow needs; configure, build, test, and validate Epic app functionality.
• Serve as a support contact for assigned applications; respond to end-user questions and escalate issues.
• Identify and implement approved system changes with testing, documentation, and post-change validation.
• Collaborate with SMEs, end users, Epic representatives, and other teams to align system functionality with business needs.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation, testing, and training materials; contribute to SOPs.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and go-live readiness; communicate deliverables and risks.
• Support go-live, upgrades, downtimes, and after-hours support as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of Epic applications, policies, and regulatory requirements; complete Epic training and certification.
