Vanderbilt Health is seeking an Epic IT Trainer to deliver engaging training programs for clinical staff using Epic eStar and related Epic applications. You will lead both virtual and in‑person classes, manage course materials, and track learner progress across multiple Epic modules.

The role emphasizes strong presentation skills, adult learning principles, and the ability to adapt training for diverse healthcare audiences, with some weekend sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering instructor‑led training.
• Experience facilitating virtual training sessions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and instructional best practices.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers orientation, on-boarding, and career ladder pathway training for all staff.
• Administers classroom evaluations and provides course updates to management.
• Uses software programs to develop learning materials.
• Applies strategies of adult learning and instructional best practices to optimise learning.
• Ensures all material is current and distributes updates to participants.
• Available to train all necessary classes, including some weekend and after hours.
• Follows required facilitator notes and procedures. Collaborates within the department.
