Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville/Henderson area seeks an Epic IT Trainer to deliver engaging training programs for clinical staff using Epic eStar and related Epic applications. The role covers virtual and instructor-led sessions, manages training records, and advances expertise across Epic tools.

This is a Term position lasting between six months and one year, with potential weekend and after-hours classes. Strong presentation and adult-learning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering instructor-led training.
• Experience facilitating virtual training sessions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams or similar training platforms.
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and instructional best practices.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers orientation, on-boarding, and career ladder pathway training for all staff.
• Administers classroom evaluations and provides course updates to management.
• Uses software programs to develop learning materials and applies adult learning strategies.
• Ensures all material is current and distributes updated material to participants; available for some weekend and after-hours classes.
• Collaborates on special projects requiring knowledge of computerized applications or processes affecting patient care.
