Job summary

Children's Mercy Kansas City seeks a Lead IT Systems Application Analyst - Epic to design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications, owning system configuration, documentation, and end-user support while guiding upgrades and integrations across clinical and back-office teams.

You'll lead cross-functional projects, mentor peers, manage vendor relationships, and ensure quality delivery of new IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher with 3–5 years in user areas supported; leadership preferred.
• Epic certification required within 120 days; training to complete if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and development of complex information systems, including configurations, databases, and networks; communicates complex technical info clearly.
• Provides end-user support, triages service desk requests, trains users, and coordinates upgrades.
• Leads cross-functional teams for Epic and related systems; manages projects and ensures timely delivery.
• Manages vendor relationships, negotiates terms, and ensures quality of products and services.
• Mentors and trains junior team members, providing guidance and leadership.
