Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst II to lead design, build, and optimization of Epic HIM workflows with emphasis on Identity and Release of Information. You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

The role requires deep knowledge of EMPI, HIM modules, and Epic certifications, with a focus on improving end-user experience and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in HIM and Identity application.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Strong verbal communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, build, and optimization of Epic HIM workflows, focusing on Identity and Release of Information.
• Serve as the application lead for medium to large projects, including upgrades and new features.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis on EMPI and HIM functions.
• Partner with clinical and operational leadership to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and QA for other analysts.
• Architect advanced HIM and Identity workflows and contribute to the master patient index strategy.
