Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking an Epic HIM Analyst II to lead design, build, and maintenance of the Epic HIM application with Identity module, focusing on workflows and end-user support. You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams to analyze processes and implement configuration changes.

This role requires Epic Identity and HIM certifications, a college degree in a related field, and the ability to manage complex projects, upgrades, and testing, including documentation and QA for

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in HIM, Identity application.
• Excellent attention to detail including verbal communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads the analysis, design, build, and optimization of complex Epic HIM workflows, with a focus on Identity and Release of Information
• Serves as the application lead for medium to large-sized projects, including upgrades and new feature rollouts
• Acts as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and performs in-depth root cause analysis on the EMPI and other HIM functions
• Partners with clinical and operational leadership to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient system solutions
• Provides technical guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance for other analysts' work
• Architects advanced HIM and Identity workflows and contributes to the overall strategy for the master patient index
