Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Epic HIM Consultant to collaborate with Accenture, vendor teams and clients to document and design healthcare workflows, define requirements and support testing and integration activities.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, data mapping, and ensuring alignment of data structures with business goals, with opportunities to contribute to upgrade and support efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in an Epic HIM Analyst role.
• A current and active Epic HIM Certification.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Document current state business workflows.
• Assist with the analysis and design of new business workflows.
• Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases.
• Provide input into high level functional specifications.
• Work with project managers, architects, business analysts and others to define metrics and performance goals for the application.
• Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for testing.
• Participate in quality management reviews of design and performance of work products.
• Perform or advise on system configuration and integration setup and testing activities.
• Serve as an intermediary with clients, Epic team and Accenture tech leads to support understanding of data structures and capabilities.
• Assist in development and documentation of data requests and mapping.
