Job summary

Luminai is seeking a Health System Workflow Expert to translate real hospital processes into actionable AI learnings. You will bring hands-on Epic experience to shape end-to-end workflows for major health systems, including large centers like Cleveland Clinic, ensuring edge cases and SOP gaps are captured.

You will partner with engineers to test workflow scenarios, document steps clearly, and help scale operational automation across patient access, scheduling, and revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in one of the following: Epic Systems role (implementation, analyst, technical services or training) or a US health system Epic analyst, clinical informatics, patient access, scheduling, revenue cycle, or patient flow role.
• Detailed working knowledge of at least one operational or clinical workflow in Epic.
• Excellent written communication; able to break complex processes into clear, step-by-step detail.
• Meticulous attention to detail and comfort working independently.
• Availability for [X] hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Write realistic workflow scenarios based on how tasks are performed in health systems.
• Define what correct, complete work looks like for operational tasks such as scheduling, registration, referrals, prior authorization, and revenue cycle.
• Review how our AI handles these workflows and pinpoint where and why it falls short.
• Flag edge cases, exceptions, and system-specific variations that affect outcomes.
• Partner with our forward deployed engineers to answer workflow questions and pressure-test assumptions.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback on a consistent weekly cadence.
