Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Epic Product Owner to lead strategy and execution for Epic EHR platform and related informatics tools. You will own the lifecycle from ideation to delivery, partnering with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders to translate needs into product requirements.

Leverage Epic expertise, CX, and agile methods to drive adoption, quality, and safety across enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant work experience in product management and healthcare informatics or health IT product/project management.
• Deep Epic expertise, managing, configuring, or overseeing Epic software/modules within a healthcare enterprise.
• Ability to deliver complex healthcare technology projects on time and within scope.
• Strong leadership and accountability for project outcomes.
• Collaborative with senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the product owner for Epic and informatics solutions, understanding clinical, operational, and competitive landscape.
• Owns the full product lifecycle for Epic-based tools and workflows, from ideation to go-live with vendor evaluations.
• Creates features, stories, and workflow designs for Epic products based on clinical insights and CX needs.
• Defines and drives execution pathways translating informatics goals into actionable requirements and plans.
• Partners with business, clinical, and operational teams to align product vision with organizational OKRs.
• Coordinates with engineering, data science, and architecture teams in an agile development process.
• Develops risk logs and mitigation strategies across technical and operational domains.
• Ensures cross-workstream alignment with clear agendas and accountability.
• Delivers executive-level reporting on product status and decisions.
