The Senior Consultant will lead Epic Grand Central engagements and work with hospital operations and Epic teams to improve patient throughput and capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Epic implementation, patient flow operations, healthcare technology, clinical informatics, or related field.
• Epic Grand Central certification, or substantial Grand Central experience with ability to renew.
• Hands-on experience configuring, implementing, optimizing, or supporting Epic Grand Central.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Epic Grand Central engagements for hospitals and health systems.
• Lead defined application, workflow, testing, reporting, data, training, or readiness workstreams.
• Analyze workflows, configure and optimize Epic Grand Central functionality and related processes.
• Support centralized patient placement, transfer center, bed management, and capacity initiatives.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Create patient movement and capacity testing scenarios reflecting routine and surge conditions.
