Job summary

Guidehouse’s Health Technology Consulting team is seeking a Senior Consultant to independently deliver Epic Grand Central patient flow and capacity management engagements for hospitals and health systems. You will analyze workflows, configure and optimize Epic Grand Central, and lead defined workstreams across operations, clinical informatics, and Epic teams.

The role involves developing future‑state bed, transfers and discharge processes, supporting go‑live activities, testing, and reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of relevant Epic implementation, patient flow operations, healthcare technology, clinical informatics, or a related field.
• Epic Grand Central certification, prior Grand Central certification with the ability to renew, or substantial Grand Central experience with the ability to obtain certification within an agreed period.
• Hands‑on experience configuring, implementing, optimizing, or supporting Epic Grand Central.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Epic Grand Central engagements for hospitals and health systems and lead defined workstreams.
• Analyze workflows, configure and optimize Epic Grand Central functionality.
• Lead testing, training, and readiness activities for go‑live.
• Develop capacity command center workflows and performance measures.
• Travel up to 50% based on client requirements.
