Job summary

Washington Regional Medical System in Northwest Arkansas seeks an Applications Analyst – Epic Grand Central to support advanced workflows critical to patient movement, bed planning, and census management. You will partner with care teams and IT to build, test, and optimize configurations that improve throughput, accuracy, and safety.

The role requires Epic Grand Central certification and 4–6 years of clinical or operational applications experience.

Qualifications

Epic Grand Central certification required.
4–6 years of clinical or operational applications experience.
Experience supporting Epic Grand Central workflows including patient movement, bed planning, census management.
Strong understanding of clinical and operational dependencies, testing methodologies, interface and integration workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead Epic Grand Central enhancements, optimization initiatives, and workflow improvements.
Coordinate comprehensive testing plans (regression, unit, system, integration, UAT).
Collaborate with patient placement, transfer center, nursing, registration, ED, perioperative, inpatient, ancillary, operational and IT teams.
Ensure compliance with accreditation and governance programs and safeguard patient data.
