Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Application Analyst – Epic Environments to lead change management, environment strategy, and lifecycle activities for Epic systems. You will coordinate changes across environments, support Data Courier deployments, and oversee upgrades to ensure system reliability and compliance.

You will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in Epic deployment and environment management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application analysis or delivery roles with Epic experience.
• Certification in Epic software within 8 weeks of hire or ability to obtain.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic change control processes ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate environment management across development, testing, training, and production.
• Troubleshoot Data Courier issues and guide teams on resolutions.
• Plan upgrades, releases, and version changes with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and delegate tasks as needed.
• Provide end-user support and act as advisor on deployment and environment strategy.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analyses.
