Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) seeks an IT Vendor Manager to oversee vendor relationships and contracts for the enterprise EHR program (HCMACS). Hybrid schedule with onsite requirements 1–2 days weekly, and more during implementation.

Lead negotiations, monitor SLAs and warranties, and coordinate with multiple state agencies. You will manage budgets, report risks, and ensure compliance while partnering with Epic and 50+ vendors to enable better health care across Washington.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing vendors/third parties, including policies, performance, vendor risk, relationships, contracts, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Demonstrated experience and technical subject matter expertise in EHR, healthcare IT vendor contracting, and IT vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts with Epic and ~50 other vendors for the HCMACS Enterprise EHR.
• Oversee SLAs, reporting, warranties, and ensure contracted services are in place and managed effectively.
• Lead procurement negotiations and ensure compliance with contract administration rules.
