Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority is seeking a seasoned HCMACS Program Manager to lead the multi-agency PMO for enterprise EHR implementation and sustainment. You will oversee master schedules, staff, and vendor management to ensure time and budget alignment across agencies.

The role requires advanced EHR knowledge, strong stakeholder communication, and a proven ability to lead complex programs with a focus on readiness, configuration, testing, training, go-live stabilization, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT or IT related field.
• Three or more years of IT management experience leading large enterprise services projects.
• Senior supervisor experience supervising project/program managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HCMACS Program Schedule in Jira and MS Project in collaboration with program and leadership teams.
• Serve as technical program management advisor to leadership responsible for EHR implementation.
• Provide advanced EHR expertise to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery including readiness, configuration, testing, training, go-live stabilization and optimization.
• Support rapid hiring and contracting of key staff and vendors to resource the program.
• Facilitate onboarding of staff and vendors, ensuring access, equipment, and compliance.
• Provide strategic direction and guidance aligned with program roadmap and leadership.
• As day-to-day manager, set up regular touchpoints to support milestones and objectives.
• Act as contract manager for vendors such as OCM and QA; lead PMO operations and working groups.
