Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority seeks a seasoned HCMACS Program Manager to lead the PMO for the statewide EHR initiative. The role demands cross-agency collaboration, advanced EHR knowledge, and strong vendor coordination across multiple settings.

Telework is allowed with required on-site days in Olympia, WA. Responsibilities include managing schedules, guiding technical readiness, and shaping the program roadmap.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT or IT related field.
• Three (3) years of progressive IT management experience in health care IT projects.
• Two (2) years as a Senior Level Supervisor supervising project/program managers.
• Option 2 requires Five (5) years IT experience in IT management or health care projects.
• Option 3 requires Nine (9) years progressive IT management experience.
• Option 4 requires Three (3) years as IT Senior Level Supervisor in State Government.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HCMACS Program Schedule in Jira and MS Project with leadership teams.
• Serve as the technical program management advisor for multi-agency EHR deployment.
• Lead and manage the multi-agency PMO to keep schedule on time and on budget.
• Support rapid hiring and contracting of staff and key vendors.
• Facilitate onboarding of staff and vendors and ensure system access.
• Provide strategic guidance aligned with the program roadmap and leadership.
• Set up regular touchpoints and contract management for vendors.
• Facilitate PMO meetings and working sessions.
