Job summary

The EPIC Support Site Specialist is part of the Clinical & Quality Services department reporting to the EPIC Support Manager. This role coordinates the needs of Premier Physician Companies, IT, and PIP Business Development to support offices and EPIC EHR use.

The position focuses on developing, optimizing, and implementing workflows that standardize care delivery through EPIC. Travel to multiple offices is required, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 to 5 years of Clinical Medical Office experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of outpatient office operations and workflows essential.
• Prior experience in EPIC ambulatory greatly desired.
• Customer service/account management experience expired.
• Must be comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups; Exemplary communication skills, required.
• Strong Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required.
• Ability to problem solve/remediate in a highly complex and matrixed environment.
• Self- motivated to achieve the highest level of patient care and patient experience standards.
• Valid Driver licenses and dependable transportation as substantial travel to offices across the network is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate needs of offices and providers’ use of EPIC EHR across Premier Physician Companies, IT, and PIP Business Development.
• Support practices to develop, optimize, and implement workflow improvements within EPIC to standardize care delivery.
• Assist with implementation of best practice workflows to ensure optimum EPIC use.
