Job summary

Cornell Scott–Hill Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence EHR Optimization Specialist to analyze clinical workflows, troubleshoot Epic issues, and provide technical support to optimize EHR processes and performance.

The ideal candidate will document findings, present recommendations to improve efficiency and user experience, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment; you may also assist with security access and act as a backup

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
Experience training clinical providers on Epic applications and related workflows.
Proficiency with Epic software and healthcare information systems.
Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology, clinical workflows, and training methodologies.

Responsibilities

Attend required CSHHC Epic training to acquire knowledge of existing Epic workflows.
Provide live and remote support after workflow analysis of all sites to identify training opportunities.
Round departments to assess training needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
Create, view, and modify Excel worksheets to document concerns, recommendations, and resolutions.
Serve as a relief trainer for Epic training as needed.
