Jefferson Health Plans seeks a seasoned Epic EHR Leader to oversee development, optimization, and support for Epic and related applications within a large enterprise. You will guide workload planning, performance development, and vendor coordination to ensure reliable Epic operations across clinical and operational workflows.

The role emphasizes mentorship, adherence to standards, and proactive problem solving to reduce risk and enhance user experience in a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3 years Leadership experience referenced in job duties.
• 3 years Experience in Epic applications development, support, and maintenance.
• 4 years progressive experience in Information Services or healthcare.
• Experience in Epic-based large hospital or IDN environments.
• Program and large scale project management and upgrade facilitation experience.
• Ability to plan, develop, and implement integrated systems architecture.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members.
• EPIC Certification - Epic Systems Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in supporting, optimizing, and maintaining Epic and other applications across clinical and operational domains.
• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of Epic enhancements and upgrades aligned with IS&T priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and perform root cause analysis with Epic vendor tools.
• Influence technical direction by guiding decisions on tools, design approaches, and methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to analysts on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Establish and maintain standards for integration design, documentation, and lifecycle management; oversee vendor management.
