Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks an experienced leader to drive development, optimization, and support of the Epic EHR platform within an integrated enterprise environment. The role oversees builds, configurations, testing, upgrades, and releases using Sherlock, Nova, and Orion, guiding analysts in workload planning and performance development across clinical and operational workflows.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
3 years leadership experience in supervision or project management.
3 years Epic applications development, support and maintenance.
4 years progressive experience in Information Services or healthcare industry.
Experience with Epic-based large hospitals or IDNs desired.
Program and large-scale project management and upgrade facilitation experience.
EPIC Certification needed upon hire.
RP - Registered Pharmacist - PA required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Guide teams in supporting and maintaining Epic and other applications; ensure build quality and workflow alignment.
Lead Epic enhancements and upgrades; follow Epic standards and coordinate with IS&T priorities.
Collaborate across teams to resolve issues; perform root cause analyses; use Sherlock, Nova, Orion to coordinate efforts.
Guide technical direction on tools and design approaches aligned with priorities.
Mentor analysts; review designs for scalability, security, and maintainability; enforce Epic best practices.
Establish and maintain integration design standards and lifecycle management; oversee vendor management.
