Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Ontario, CA, seeks an experienced IT professional to design, build, test, implement and support Epic EMR and other clinical IT systems. You will lead software analysis, define system scope, and configure vendor-maintained or in-house solutions to meet clinical workflows.

The role requires strong project management, healthcare IT know-how and the ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses and system staff across multiple projects. 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years IT/clinical healthcare experience.
• Prior EMR implementations experience required.
• Knowledge of ER workflow and inpatient CPOE concepts.
• Strong MS Office and project tools skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Familiar with CMS/HIPAA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
