Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Director to oversee the Integrated Epic Enterprise Clinical and Revenue Cycle System, including the EMR. You will plan, organize, and manage project teams to meet goals within budget, serving as a liaison across the organization and driving portfolio management within IS.

Requires BA/BS in a related field and 7–10 years’ experience in operations/informatics, plus Epic certification within 30 days if applicable. Includes leadership of multi-million dollar budgets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or clinical field is required.
• 7–10 years of increasing responsibility in operations or informatics managing complex initiatives from design through implementation.
• Epic certification within 30 days of certification class completion if applicable.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare informatics and project portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Directs project teams and tasks to achieve goals within budget.
• Establishes policies with leadership and ensures goals are met through planning and decision-making.
• Acts as liaison between stakeholder groups and central point of communication for project activities.
• Drives portfolio and resource management adoption within IS and guides other managers.
