Job summary

County of San Mateo Health seeks an Electronic Health Record Analyst I/II – Grand Central to support Phase 2 of the Epic implementation with a focus on reporting. The role will be based in South San Francisco or San Mateo, CA, and requires travel within the county.

The position is currently hybrid with on-site and remote work as based on business needs. The ideal candidate understands acute clinical workflows, including admissions, registrations, and patient movement, and has Epic EHR

Qualifications

Knowledge of Epic EHR systems, workflow between admission/registration and clinical modules.
Ability to collect, analyze, and document business operations and workflows.
Familiarity with security, access provisioning, and incident response in health IT.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and document business operations and workflows.
Meet with customers to assess EHR requests and detail business needs.
Identify improvements to operations, automation, and data flows for better integration.
Coordinate security workgroups and ensure system security for users.
Provide on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
Assist in training programs and develop training materials.
Test and evaluate new releases and perform system upgrade testing.
