Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an expert Epic Systems Administrator to own the health, performance, and security of Epic server infrastructure from deployment through ongoing maintenance. You will develop automation scripts, manage printing infrastructure, and monitor security across Windows-based environments in a fully remote role based out of Dallas, TX.

The ideal candidate holds Epic ECSA certification, strong Windows Server expertise, and hands-on experience with virtualization and load balancers,

Qualifications

• Epic ECSA certification required.
• Expertise in Windows Server administration.
• Experience with virtualization platforms: XenServer, VMware ESXi or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with load balancers: F5 BIG-IP or NetScaler.
• Working knowledge of IIS, TCP/IP, DNS, AD, FTP/SCP, HTTP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline tasks and deployments.
• Analyze performance data to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks.
• Own the health, performance, and security of Epic server infrastructure from deployment to maintenance.
• Manage Epic printing infrastructure and print queues.
• Monitor network and web server activity for security breaches.
• Perform file system management and capacity planning.
• Install and manage deployment platforms for production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with Epic and other teams to ensure proactive support.
• Write and maintain scripts to improve system management tasks.
• Participate in change control and business continuity testing.
