Job summary

Medical Search Associates in the Gratiot, OH area is seeking a Revenue Cycle & Financial Systems Manager to lead and optimize critical healthcare IT applications across Revenue Cycle, Finance, Registration, Scheduling, HIM, and Billing. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Information Systems experience.
• 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle, financial, operational, or enterprise systems experience.
• 4+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with Epic and healthcare information systems.
• Experience managing system selection, acquisition, implementation, optimization, and support projects.
• Strong personnel and team management experience.
• Experience with process redesign, process improvement, and process re-engineering.
• Strong understanding of project and resource management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Revenue Cycle, Finance, and operational information systems projects throughout the complete system lifecycle.
• Manage application analysis, design, selection, acquisition, implementation, testing, training, optimization, and support.
• Supervise teams supporting Registration, Scheduling, HIM, Document Imaging, Hospital Billing, Ambulatory Billing, and other non-clinical systems.
• Manage team priorities, work schedules, performance, resources, and project deliverables.
• Apply Epic experience and knowledge to system initiatives, team activities, and deliverables.
• Ensure coordinated system configuration, design, build, testing, and implementation.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and drive them to resolution.
• Develop project plans, timelines, requirements, specifications, status reports, and resource plans.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify business needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Lead process improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with project managers, IT leadership, vendors, and operational stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality system testing and successful go-live execution.
• Support enterprise-wide integrated information system initiatives.
• Help develop long-range information systems strategy and operational plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve the utilization and effectiveness of existing applications.
• Stay current with healthcare information technology, applications, and emerging technologies.
