Job summary

Fairview is seeking an experienced pharmacist to act as a liaison between IS, Pharmacy Services, vendors, and EPIC applications to optimize the electronic medication orders workflow.

The role emphasizes design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of medication management within the inpatient system, with training and first-line support responsibilities across pharmacy IT platforms.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree required and Minnesota pharmacist licensure.
• 2 years inpatient pharmacist experience or 4 years ambulatory pharmacist experience when applicable.
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy processes and drug therapy knowledge.
• Good computer skills and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and support of EPIC and related systems.
• Coordinate with users to develop task plans, timelines, and test plans; monitor improvements.
• Serve as liaison to staff and management for successful implementation and ongoing system use.
• Assist in training plan development; be first point of contact for end users on pharmacy IT issues.
