Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando seeks an experienced IT Analyst to lead the design, build, and implementation of clinical, revenue cycle and business systems. You will analyze workflows, identify gaps, and partner with physicians and leaders to deliver solutions that improve patient care, streamline operations, and reduce costs.

You will mentor a team of analysts, ensure testing and documentation, stay current with HL7 standards, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Mature, independent professional judgment and ability to work with no supervision.
• Advanced ability to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations and handle multiple priorities.
• Advanced knowledge of HL7 concepts and operating within an integrated healthcare applications environment.
• High degree of theoretical and practical knowledge of clinical/technical workflows.
• Technical skills in information systems-related aspects of laboratory testing and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read English text and numbers, measure, calculate, and reason.
• Rapid learner with Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint/Visio).
• Knowledge of clinical/revenue cycle/workflows and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, build, and configuration within system modules and third-party apps.
• Lead a team of analysts; coordinate with physicians and leadership to gather requirements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and test scripts; perform various testing.
• Ensure software modifications/upgrades meet specifications and provide training as needed.
• Maintain vendor relationships and monitor project milestones and budgets.
• Provide ongoing status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Mentor new employees and ensure adherence to QA standards.
