Job summary

STI is seeking an Expert Epic Clinical Project Manager to lead planning and implementation of an Epic EHR project for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. You will manage day-to-day activities for the assigned portion, coordinate with executives and vendors, and ensure successful delivery of clinical components across modules.

The role requires strong PM skills, healthcare IT knowledge, and experience in complex stakeholder environments, reporting into senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Maintain scope, schedule and quality for the Clinical EHR build team and modules listed.

CANDIDATE MUST BE CERTIFIED IN AT LEAST ONE CLINICAL APPLICATION

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services requires the services of an EXPERT Epic Clinical project manager to manage the planning and implementation of an EHR implementation project for the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities and transition from the legacy and siloed clinical applications. This project management role will work with other EHR project managers and executive leadership team, multiple internal and external stakeholders, and selected vendor(s) to analyze, plan, and implement the clinical components required for an Epic EHR system. This position will be responsible for working with senior-level business executives, IT management and personnel, business program resources and vendor staff to define and execute requirements and manage stakeholder expectations. This position will manage the day-to-day activities for the assigned portion of the project and complete all input into overall EHR program reporting and the State's Project Portfolio Tool (MS Project Server) as needed.
