Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC seeks an Epic Clinical Informatics professional to oversee implementation, optimization and ongoing use of clinical information systems. You will bridge clinical end-users with IT, fostering patient care improvements and workflows.

Responsibilities include leading workflow design, CDS tool development, and training across the application lifecycle. On-site role with focus on clinician satisfaction and system usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health or related clinical field.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina (if applicable).
• Epic Clinical Informatics certification or plan to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of clinical experience in healthcare settings.
• 1 year of experience with clinical information systems (preferably Epic).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of clinical applications supporting patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to analyze workflows and requirements.
• Lead meetings/workgroups to design workflows and CDS tools.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff, IT, and vendors for system design.
• Deliver training materials and coach users during go-lives and upgrades.
