Job summary

AdventHealth in Georgia seeks an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist to provide independent, hands-on support and optimization for EHR systems. You will bridge frontline clinicians, clinical operations, and IT teams to ensure effective adoption and workflow alignment.

The role requires 3+ years clinical experience and 2+ years in healthcare informatics, plus RN or RRT preferred. Mon-Fri with some nights/weekends and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Proficient experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and documentation practices.
• Ability to analyze workflows and recommend informatics-based improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 office products.
• Familiarity with Data Analytics, Epic Reporting Tools and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent clinical informatics support to clinicians across facilities.
• Resolve moderate to complex EHR-related issues and support workflows.
• Participate in enterprise projects, system upgrades, and go-live events.
• Act as a clinical informatics liaison to nursing, providers, and clinicians.
• Promote adoption of clinical documentation standards and decision support tools.
• Collaborate with training teams and vendors for education and reinforcement.
• Support system builds, workflow validation, and optimization initiatives.
