Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an IT professional to implement and support clinical technology applications for its user community. The role advocates for user needs, coordinates IT requests, and ensures safe patient care through sound clinical and technical solutions.

The position requires 2 years of clinical setting experience, familiarity with Epic, and a clinical degree or equivalent. Collaboration with vendors and departments is essential for project success and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Functions as a business partner with service lines, departments, individuals, and coworkers.
• Develops in-depth knowledge of system capabilities, applications, and processes to educate and expert for system users.
• Advises clinical operational users on integration of technical systems with workflows.
• Participates in routine meetings with department heads to identify, document, and prioritize needs.
• Coordinates operational and capital project requests with IS&T and operational teams.
• Provides Epic and other applications software support, file maintenance, build for break-fixes and upgrades.
• Maintains relationships with application vendors and provides on-call coverage as scheduled.
