Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced clinical informatics specialist to advance our informatics strategy. You will provide hands-on support, optimize systems, and align workflows across clinicians, operations, and IT to improve patient safety and clinician experience.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in clinical settings and 2+ years in healthcare informatics, with Epic experience and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficient experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and documentation practices.
- Ability to analyze workflows and recommend informatics-based improvements.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 office products.
- Familiarity with Data Analytics, Epic Reporting Tools and data visualization tools.
Responsibilities
- Advance AdventHealth’s clinical informatics strategy with independent, hands-on support.
- Bridge frontline clinicians, clinical operations, and IT teams for system adoption and workflow alignment.
- Contribute to governance processes and enterprise initiatives to improve clinician experience and patient safety.
