Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks a Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst I to assist in operating and administering clinical information systems across a large, multi-regional health system. You will collaborate with clinical and technical teams to optimize workflows, support incidents and changes per ITIL, and maintain assigned clinical applications with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience in lieu of degree.
• 1–3 years previous clinical information systems experience or equivalent.
• Epic certification/accreditation/self-proficiency preferred (may be required to certify in relevant application within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise informatics to drive department goals and vision.
• Develop, test, implement, support, and maintain clinical applications and processes.
• Provide end-user support during upgrades and new releases; troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems.
• Communicate changes to clinical end users and downtime procedures for EMR systems.
• Analyze workflows and data to improve patient safety and efficiency.
