Job summary

Ellit Groups is seeking an experienced Epic Claims Analyst for a remote US-based contract engagement. The role involves hands-on Epic Claims configuration, build, testing and optimization.

The consultant must travel onsite 2–3 times during the initial 3‑month period and collaborate with revenue cycle, operations and technical teams to deliver effective Epic solutions. The ideal candidate will have current Epic Claims certification and extensive hands-on experience with Epic Claims functionality

Qualifications

• Hands-on Epic Claims build and configuration experience.
• Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows.
• Ability to independently manage complex Epic build assignments.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims, billing, reimbursement and payer workflows.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into system configurations.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution and system optimization.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and operational teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex, hands-on Epic Claims build and configuration.
• Evaluate current claims workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate requirements into Epic build solutions.
• Configure, test, validate, and implement Epic Claims functionality.
• Troubleshoot claims-related system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support claims processing, billing, reimbursement and related workflows.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, operations and technical stakeholders.
• Participate in workflow design and system optimization sessions.
• Develop and execute testing (unit/integration/UAT).
• Maintain build documentation and testing materials.
• Provide knowledge transfer during implementation and stabilization.
