Job Title: Epic Cheers / Call Campaign Consultant
Hourly/Salary Compensation Range: $80-90/Hour PR
Contract Length: 6-12 months (highly likely to be 12-months due to workload)
Location: Remote
Hours: EST/CST - MUST work either EST or CST
Start Date: 11/9/26 is target. Needed ASAP and motivated to expedite.
Client Overview: Our client is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the country. Formed via the merging of two large health systems from the midwest and southeast. It is now the third-largest nonprofit health system in the U.S. It runs 60+ hospitals and 1,000+ care sites, employs more than 150,000 people, with care being delivered across 5 states, including a large AMC/Research sub-org that makes up their academic core.
Job Description: Key responsibilities
- Own Cheers Campaigns requests end to end: intake, requirements, build, testing, launch and post-launch tuning, with minimal oversight.
- Assess each outreach request and recommend whether Campaigns is the right tool, or overkill compared with a narrower or site-level approach.
- Migrate outreach currently handled in third-party and population health tools into Epic where it makes sense.
- Coordinate timing and channel across campaigns, MyChart messaging and texting so patients are not over-messaged.
- Build and support care-gap and other outreach campaigns that write results back to Epic.
- Implement Cheers Call Management for the remaining departments not yet live.
- Present builds and recommendations directly to senior operational and clinical leaders, and handle pushback calmly.
- Manage own workload and timelines like a project manager; dedicated PMs are not assigned to every campaign.
- Optional: help with Cheers tickets / support rotation if interested.
Skill Set Requirements: Required qualifications
- Hands-on Epic Cheers build experience in Call Management, Campaigns, or both. Any combination is acceptable.
- Active Epic certification(s). A candidate without Campaigns experience is acceptable if they hold multiple Epic certifications, since Campaigns reuses existing Epic functionality.
- Proven ability to run own work end to end: gather requirements, build, demo back to stakeholders and launch without hand-holding.
- Comfortable working directly with senior healthcare leadership.
- Available to work Eastern / Central business hours, fully remote.
Nice to Haves: Preferred qualifications
- Experience in both Cheers Campaigns and Call Management (the client’s first choice).
- Prior Cheers Campaigns project experience, especially care-gap or population health outreach.
- Project management experience or a track record of leading own workstreams.
- Familiarity with MyChart patient messaging, Epic Hello World texting, or Healthy Planet / population health workflows (added by Medasource as relevant adjacent skills; not stated by the client).
- Experience moving outreach off third-party vendors into Epic.
