Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a professional to map, analyze and improve Epic-based clinical and business workflows. You will translate user needs into functional specifications, perform configurations, and develop test plans to validate performance across Epic modules.

You will train users, monitor system usage, and maintain documentation while coordinating upgrades and ensuring high-quality deliverables in a remote, nationally distributed role.

Qualifications

• 3 years in IT or clinical environment with process mapping and requirements
• Experience with acceptance testing and documentation
• Ability to analyze and map business processes

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Prepare documentation using diagrams and data models to present and analyze requirements.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications and prioritize based on business needs.
• Perform system configuration to meet business requirements.
• Develop test plans, cases and scripts and conduct testing across units and users.
• Provide client training and develop training materials and trainers.
• Monitor system functionality and drive process changes as needed.
• Explain application functionality to users and assist with full use of workflows.
• Create and maintain product documentation and change control records.
