Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) is seeking an Epic Senior Analyst, Cadence to lead Cadence configuration and enhancements. You will collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to optimize the Cadence setup, serve as a primary support contact, and drive design, development, testing, and maintenance across Cadence modules.

You will mentor junior analysts, participate in on-call rotations, and work with trainers to create documentation and training strategies, ensuring Cadence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare IT experience.
• 3–5 years of Epic Cadence build experience.
• Cadence/Referrals Certification required or pursued.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with scheduling, payer authorization, and related workflows.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize Cadence configuration, function, and access.
• Serves as primary end-user support for Cadence applications.
• Initiates design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Cadence.
• Conducts testing phases and documents workflow design.
• Analyzes IT impacts on clinical workflows and resolves issues.
• Mentors junior staff and supports day-to-day operations.
• Partners with training to develop documentation and training materials.
