Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking an Epic Cadence Template Specialist to design, build, and govern provider and resource scheduling templates. You will collaborate with physician practices, service line leaders, Patient Access, and IT to ensure templates support access, productivity, and enterprise standards.

You will also audit templates, analyze utilization metrics, and drive improvements while maintaining comprehensive documentation and SOPs for governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience building, maintaining, or optimizing Epic Cadence templates.
• Experience in patient access, ambulatory operations, or healthcare operations.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and leaders to implement scheduling changes.
• Experience analyzing scheduling workflows and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, maintains, and optimizes scheduling templates in Epic Cadence.
• Partners with leadership to balance patient demand and provider preferences.
• Reviews template requests and ensures governance and scheduling best practices.
• Monitors metrics like Third Next Available and template utilization to drive improvements.
• Conducts audits for accuracy and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Supports IT and analytics teams during upgrades and testing.
• Documents template builds, governance decisions, and SOPs.
• Provides consultation and education on Epic scheduling functionality.
• Participates in enterprise access initiatives and scheduling optimization projects.
