Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Capacity Management Analyst II who brings mastery of Epic Cadence and advanced scheduling. You will lead template design, provide decision support for system design, and guide go-live activities, collaborating with Access Centers, Ambulatory teams and DTP to ensure smooth deployment.

The role emphasizes data-driven performance, cross‑functional teamwork, mentorship, and ongoing client support to optimize ambulatory scheduling and improve scheduling accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or High School Degree with equivalent knowledge, skills, experience).
• 2-3 years healthcare experience in outpatient setting, including operations and/or healthcare information systems.
• Epic proficiency (Cadence, Prelude, etc.).
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead designated Capacity Management initiatives: plan and execute advanced template management requests.
• Provide advanced scheduling decision support for ambulatory specialties and maintain scheduling templates.
• Act as SME for Epic Cadence; advise on templates and decision trees for clients.
• Support go-live and post‑go‑live activities with Access Centers, Ambulatory, and DTP.
• Analyze data streams to improve scheduling accuracy and efficiency; audit template builds.
