Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Capacity Management Lead to guide a team optimizing Epic Cadence templates for patient access and provider utilization. You will oversee build governance, QA, analytics, and access initiatives, partnering with clinical and IS leaders to improve scheduling workflows.

Ideal candidates bring Epic Cadence expertise, strong leadership, and experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on process improvement and effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Epic Cadence experience or functional knowledge preferred.
• Experience supporting Epic Cadence, patient access operations, healthcare IT, or related functions preferred.
• Experience building, testing, implementing, and analyzing Epic workflows.
• Experience analyzing operational data and improving processes.
• Knowledge of ambulatory scheduling workflows and provider template management.
• Strong leadership and collaboration across departments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on Epic Cadence and Baylor Scott & White workflows.
• Test, document data, and end-user reports; address issues.
• Build, modify, and track system builds in a timely manner.
• Create and execute test scripts for new system builds.
• Provide application support and communicate updates to users.
• Lead stakeholders and mentor analysts.
• Define requirements with business and technical teams.
• Translate policies into application specifications.
• Drive opportunities to improve scheduling and access.
