Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Mid-Level Epic Cadence Certified Analyst to join the Information Technology Patient Access team. The role focuses on build, optimization, and rollout of Guided Scheduling, aiming to simplify scheduling for front-desk staff, call centers, providers, and patients.

The candidate will translate complex scheduling rules into automated workflows and work with clinical/operational leadership to standardize legacy visit types across specialties, enabling MyChart Open/Direct

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant IT certifications may be required with finalization within 90 days of training provided by WVUHS IT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade IT systems to meet organizational needs.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system goals are met.
• Lead data reporting and ensure secure data exchange with HL7, FHIR, and DICOM standards.
• Support Epic Cadence configurations and performance improvements.
