Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking an experienced Application Analyst – Cadence to support and optimize the Epic Cadence application. You will partner with ambulatory operations, access management, clinic leadership, and technical teams to ensure efficient scheduling workflows, provider template management, and patient access optimization.

The role requires strong analytical skills and Epic Cadence experience, with a focus on improving scheduling efficiency and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Epic Cadence certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of patient scheduling, provider template management, registration, and access workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize Epic Cadence application to improve scheduling workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic application issues and provide end-user support.
• Collaborate with IT, operational, and clinical teams to ensure optimal scheduling workflows and system performance.
• Monitor applications during maintenance, upgrades, and implementations.
• Build and maintain provider schedules, appointment templates, and scheduling rules within Epic Cadence.
• Participate in projects related to system enhancements, workflow optimization, integrations, and new implementations.
