Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Application Analyst – Cadence to support and optimize our Epic Cadence scheduling solution. You will collaborate with ambulatory operations, access management, clinic leadership, and IT to streamline scheduling workflows and patient access.

The ideal candidate has Epic Cadence experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving scheduling efficiency and patient experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of education/experience.
2-4 years of relevant work experience.
Epic Cadence certification preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and resolves basic application issues and provides end-user support.
Collaborates with IT, operations, and clinical teams to optimize scheduling workflows.
Monitors applications during maintenance, upgrades, and implementations.
Builds and maintains provider schedules, appointment templates, and scheduling rules in Epic Cadence.
Participates in projects related to system enhancements, workflow optimization, integrations, and new implementations.
