The role involves planning work for upgrades, configuring environments, and evaluating workflows for feasibility, while documenting specifications and developing test plans to validate changes.

The position requires EPIC Certification and experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on project management for

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year EHR application build, implementation and support experience with 4 years progressive information services/healthcare experience.
Experience with small to medium-scale implementations/upgrades.
Test Plan development experience.
Information Technology and/or Healthcare Operations experience.
Project management of large initiatives.
Implementation/Upgrade support for applications.
Planning, development and implementation experience.
Technical collaboration (interfaces, hardware, reporting).
EPIC Certification - Epic Systems.

Responsibilities

Identify optimal technical solutions that integrate with existing systems.
Prepare work plans for system upgrades and enhancements.
Configure and maintain technical environments across development, staging, production.
Evaluate workflows for feasibility and resolve operational issues.
Develop clear specifications and accompanying documentation.
Plan and execute comprehensive test scenarios for validation.
Assist in establishing technology standards and estimating resources.
Communicate variances to management and ensure timely task completion.
