Job summary

Cottage Health seeks an Epic Cadence Analyst Sr in the Epic Applications department responsible for analyzing, configuring, developing, testing, implementing, supporting and maintaining Epic scheduling, referrals and related workflows (Cheers, HelloWorld, Welcome) to meet operational and technical requirements.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of software functionality and operational workflows; experience with patient registration workflows such as GrandCentral and Prelude is helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in nursing, IT, allied health, business or related field
• Must have Epic Cadence certification
• 5+ years of experience in similar clinical/revenue cycle system implementation or support
• Experience with GrandCentral/Prelude is a plus

Obtains and maintains in depth knowledge of software functionality and acquires as well as utilizes knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented. Areas of responsibility may be: Cadence, Hello World, Welcome application, Cheers, and CRM. Experience with patient registration workflows, such as GrandCentral and Prelude will be helpful thought not necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:

• Minimum:Bachelor's Degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or a related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in revenue cycle information applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• Minimum:Must have valid Epic Cadence certification
• Preferred: RHIA.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum: Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms and network software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to appropriate revenue cycle department.

Years of Related Work Experience:

• Minimum: 5 years of experience in similar clinical/revenue cycle system implementation, support, and/or project management.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
