Cottage Health seeks an Epic Clinical Analyst Sr for their CH Clinical Informatics and Care Delivery Applications department. The role requires analyzing, configuring, developing, testing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining Epic clinical applications, solutions, and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements. The analyst will obtain and maintain in‑depth knowledge of software functionality and acquire knowledge of operational workflows to implement effectively.

Areas of responsibility may include:

• Laboratory (Beaker)
• Clin Doc
• Radiology (Radiant)
• Oncology (Beacon)
• Emergency Department (ASAP)
• OR/Anesthesia (Optime)
• Cardiology (Cupid)

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business, or related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in clinical information applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.
• Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
  • Minimum: Current Epic certification for assigned application(s).
  • Preferred: License or certification in related clinical field or information systems.
• Technical Requirements: Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms and network software. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to the appropriate clinical department.
• Years of Related Work Experience
  • Minimum: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support.
  • Preferred: In addition to the above, 5 years of project management or clinical experience in radiology, laboratory, OR/anesthesia, oncology, emergency department, cardiology, or other appropriate health‑care area.
