Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Manager – Epic Beaker to lead and support Beaker CP implementation, with deep knowledge of Epic Inpatient Orders, Ambulatory and Optime concepts. He/she will guide teams, design solutions, and ensure value delivery across clinical pathology workflows.

This role can be remote in most areas of the United States, with potential collaboration across departments and responsibilities spanning program management and product implementation lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Recent Beaker CP course completion (certification a plus)
• Recent Beaker CP implementation experience preferred
• CP lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train IT staff, assign projects and monitor performance.
• Ensure staff alignment with mission and strategic plan.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and policies.
• Keep projects on track and report status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Review advances in technology and industry best practices.
• Assist with operating and capital budgets following guidelines.
