Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts seeks an experienced IT applications professional to lead the selection, deployment, and optimization of clinical and business software across care areas. You will collaborate with caregivers, clinicians, and vendors to design and configure features that enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.

You will mentor teammates, manage project timelines, and guide training and documentation efforts while ensuring robust system performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Epic Application certification(s) or ability to achieve as required by department.
3 years experience with enterprise platforms (EHRs/ITSM/ERPs).
Team player with strong problem solving, time management and decision-making skills.
Able to mentor less experienced team members and lead meetings.

Responsibilities

Proactively identifies barriers to completing work and escalates issues with proposed solutions.
Attends required meetings and assumes accountability for follow-ups and closed-loop communication.
Participates as workstream lead on cross-functional projects and ensures tasks stay within scope.
Runs optimization requests, schedules meetings, identifies timelines and allocates resources.
Leads discussions with caregivers and vendors to evaluate and configure application features.
